2015 model year changes
The Touareg continues to improve for 2015. A new front fascia includes new bi-xenon headlights, while the rear of the Touareg gets new LED taillights and a new liftgate. New wheel designs further improve the look of the 2015 Touareg. Overall, the new styling is handsome, with subtle improvements rather than revolutionary changes. The interior of the vehicle has been improved with the addition of new switchgear and new chrome or wood accents. In addition, a new driver's assistance package is available for 2015. The package includes adaptive cruise control, lane assist and an automatic post-collision braking system.

Special features for 2015
The Touareg doesn't offer a third row of seating, but it's one of the roomiest, most comfortable vehicles with seating for five, with a luxurious cabin and a smooth, quiet ride. In plush Executive versions with the Dynaudio sound system, the Touareg is equipped and trimmed more as a luxury vehicle. Opt for the Touareg TDI, and buyers will get one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs on the market, with an EPA estimate of 29 mpg on the highway. The Touareg Hybrid offers another alternative, with what Volkswagen claims is the world's first supercharged hybrid powertrain.
