For 2015, Toyota has dropped the V6 engine from the Tundra lineup, leaving only the 4.6L and 5.7L V8s. Meanwhile, a TRD Pro off-road trim joins the lineup.

Special features for 2015

The 2015 Tundra CrewMax has best-in-class legroom according to Toyota and offers the only reclining and sliding rear seat among pickups. The Tundra also offers one of the best-designed interiors, with plenty of storage space and easy access to the backseat area. The available 5.7L engine makes 381 horsepower and 401 foot-pounds of torque, with hauling and towing ability near the top of the segment.
The full-sized Toyota Tundra pickup truck comes in three different body styles (two-door regular cab, extended four-door double-cab and the four-door crew cab), and is offered in several different wheelbases and bed lengths. In addition, five different trim levels are also offered: Tundra SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum and 1794 Edition. It is important to note that some options are signature to trim level or body style, and some are limited to specific geographical regions. Standard options (found on the basic SR model) include: 18” wheels (steel), matte bumpers, towing hooks, remote entry, heated mirrors, powered accessories, 40/20/40-split bench seat (in applicable trims and body styles), standard 110-volt plug outlets, 6.1” touchscreen with Bluetooth, USB and iPod connectivity, backup camera and a four-speaker audio system. Upgrades can add things that vary, depending upon trim and body style, like: upgraded gauge and instrument clusters, larger 7” touchscreen, front bucket seats, various off-road packages, alloy wheels, climate control (two-zone), blind-spot monitoring system and many others. Three engines are available, depending upon wheelbase, body style and trim, and they include: a 4.0-liter V6 engine that makes 270 horsepower and 278 pound-feet of torque; a 4.6-liter V8 engine that is rated at 310 hp and 327 lb-ft of torque; and a 5.7-liter V8 engine that churns out 381 hp and 401 lb-ft of, capable of towing over 10,000 pounds.
