We love our Subaru Impreza and had thought we would keep it forever and drive it until it dies, however, when we received a letter saying the transmission, which is a continuous variable transmission is no longer covered on the warantee, we were disappointed to say the least. If they won't cover it, is it because they already know it will have problems in the future. We will definitely think about selling it soon.

It is a very reliable car. I had this car for almost 3 years and 29000 miles, and the only issues I had was the Tire Pressure Monitorning system defective and sometimes the automatica transmission slow in response/hesitating. Another minor issue is the exterior paint that is very delicate and prone to damage. Also some interior materials are very delicate and they scratch easily. It is not an emotional choice, it is all about reliability.

Average, reliable car, no frills, just driving. Subaru drives well in the snow or any weather for that matter, perfect for Colorado s ever changing weather conditions.

Subarus are great cars. We replaced a 1999 Legacy with a 2015 Impreza. The only problem with Subaru is that they have inflated the size of their model lines so that 2016 Legacy/Outback turned a Into a massive SUV. Our 16 Impreza was the size of our 99 Legacy. Subaru needs a subcompact 4-wheel drive model for today s traffic choked cities.

Extremely reliable fun to drive, and excellent shape. Very low mileage. All wheel drive. Options include moonroof and crossbar.
