Special features for 2015

If your idea of basic transportation is a no-frills economy car with five doors, a 10-year/100,000-mile warranty, the best non-hybrid fuel economy on the market, a base price under $13,000, and a fun color palette, then look no further than the 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage. With its diminutive size, the Mirage is also quite nimble, allowing for excellent maneuverability in tight spaces. It may not win any drag races, but it will get everywhere it needs to go, and it will save money the whole way.
Thanks to the continuously variable transmission (CVT) in the Mitsubishi Mirage, owners enjoy a combined EPA estimated 40 mpg with this compact hatchback. This, piggybacked with the five-year/60,000-mile basic bumper-to-bumper warranty, makes it a smart purchase; particularly for entry-level buyers seeking a reliable vehicle. The Mirage is a five-passenger hatchback that comes in two different trim levels: DE and ES. With the standard model, you’ll get power accessories, 14” steel wheels, a sporty rear spoiler, keyless entry, a four-speaker stereo system and 60/40 split rear bench. Upgrade to the ES trim and get alloy wheels, keyless ignition, Bluetooth connectivity and a nifty metal-enhanced interior trim. You can take your upgrade further by adding the GPS package with touchscreen console and backup camera. Other options include things like cargo nets and interior chrome trim. The Mirage features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine that makes 74 horsepower at 74 pound-feet of torque. For the price and features offered, it’s hard to beat this likeable deal on a roomy yet compact hatchback.
