2015 model year changes

A host of new features are available across the Lancer lineup. All models get heated side mirrors with turn signal indicators. SE and SE models get increased hands-free functionality, along with a new wheel design while the Ralliart and Evolution GSR models gets a 9-speaker stereo and HID headlamps.

Special features for 2015

At the base level, the Lancer packs plenty of fun and safety features into a sub-$18,000 package. The $29,495 Ralliart model features all-wheel drive and a mild turbocharged engine with enough performance to surprise. Sportback models add increased cargo carrying functionality. The base Lancer returns great fuel economy, achieving 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway. The Lancer Evolution continues to be one of the best performance values available. A 291-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine combined with Mitsubishi's famed Super All-Wheel Control system makes for intense power and control at a price around $35,000.
The five-passenger Mitsubishi Lancer is offered in four trims: ES, SE, GT and Ralliart trim levels, and can also be acquired in a five-door hatchback model. Nicely equipped, the base model features 16” wheels (steel), automatic headlamps, remote entry, all-powered accessories, a 60/40-split rear seat, armrests in front and back and a four-speaker sound system. A plethora of packages and options exists, and can add creature comforts and interior and exterior amenities that include: alloy wheels (up to 18”), Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, heated seats and mirrors, metallic interior and exterior trim accents, premium nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate surround sound system, remote start, sunroof, climate control (automatic) 7” touchscreen console with backup camera and GPS system, xenon headlamps, leather seating, vanity rear spoiler, paddle shifters, sport-tuned braking and suspension and various sport treatments inside and out. Three engines are offered, variable to the trim level. They include: a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 148 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque; a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 168 hp and 167 lb-ft of torque; or a turbocharged 2.0-liter Inline four-cylinder engine that churns out 237 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque. The Lancer comes with a five-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
