2015 model year changes
Following its introduction last year, the 2015 Mercedes-Benz CLA receives few changes. Keyless entry is now part of the Premium Package, a Harman/Kardon sound system, rearview camera, and aluminum trim are now stand-alone options, and a rear armrest with cup holders is now standard.
Efficient usage of space, beautiful styling, economical pricing, good performance, optional all-wheel drive
Special features for 2015
The CLA-Class is Mercedes-Benz's attempt to compete with the likes of the diminutive Audi A3 and the BMW 1-series. As the price of gasoline continues to rise, compact luxury cars get more and more popular. Buyers will continue to want all of the technology and luxury features of larger cars without the size or fuel consumption. Mercedes-Benz hopes that attractive styling, a low base price, an upscale name and lots of luxury know-how will be enough to convince buyers to take a serious look at the CLA-Class.
The five-passenger Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class is offered in two trims, but comes very nicely equipped out the door. Start off with 17” premium alloy wheels, automated wipers, powered and heated front seats, premium faux leather seating, 60/40-split-folding rear seat, the COMAND interface with 5.8” touchscreen command console, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration and a basic sound system. Upgrade it to make it yours with a variety of available options that include things like larger 19” AMG wheels, sport-tuned brakes and suspension systems, two-zone climate control, Harmon Kardon premium sound system, six-disc CD changer, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation system, wood interior trim, bi-xenon headlights, vanity rear spoiler, panoramic sunroof, GPS system, parking sensors (front and rear) with camera, automated parking system, sport-styled seating and even painted brake calipers. The CLA-Class comes with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that’s rated at 208 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Mercedes-Benz offers a four-year/50,000-mile limited warranty.
