2015 Kia Sportage Values
Select a 2015 Kia Sportage trim level
The smaller-sized and compact Kia Sportage crossover SUV offers ample seating for five passengers and is offered in three trims: LX, EX and SX. The amply equipped base model has much to offer, and includes features like: 17” alloy wheels, privacy glass in the rear, 60/40 split-folding seats (that also recline), Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, all powered accessories and a six-speaker audio system. A number of intriguing upgrades are available, found within the various trim levels and optional add-ons. They include things like armrests in the second row, backup camera with parking sensors and 8” touchscreen with voice control (GPS-ready), larger 18” alloy wheels, automated headlamps, fog lights, two-zone climate control (automatic), heated mirrors, powered front seats, leather seating, remote entry/start and a panoramic sunroof. Two engines are available, a 2.4-liter engine that generates 182 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque; or a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that turns out a head-turning 260 hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. The Sportage comes with a five-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
2015 model year changes
Kia has improved the interior in a few minor ways for all 2015 Sportages, making things a little more intuitive. In addition, SX trimmed Sportages now come standard with a navigation system, power folding exterior mirrors and a push button start.
Competitive comparison
Fuel efficiency; connectivity and entertainment features; spacious, versatile interior; ride quality and cabin refinement; strong warranty; value for the money
Special features for 2015
The Kia Sportage has become a leader in its class of compact SUVs, thanks to its stylish design, generous feature set, connectivity and entertainment systems, and strong value for the money. Despite its compact size, the Sportage is of a size that's large enough for a family of four, yet it still fits into a compact-car parking space. The Sportage's 4-wheel-drive system combines the best of both worlds, with a true locking center differential as well as car-like on-road all-wheel-drive finesse. Kia's 10-year warranty on powertrain components brings a peace of mind not easily matched by many other brands.
