Special features for 2015

The Renegade is an important vehicle for Jeep. It's the first time they've ever committed to building what they call a "small SUV." Jeep has been building "compact" SUVs for a while, but now they truly have a vehicle that doesn't just work in the city, but thrives there. Renegade pricing starts at under $18,000, significantly cheaper than the MINI Countryman which is roughly the same size.
Entering into a relatively crowded group of crossovers arrives the newest compact crossover SUV by Jeep, the Renegade. With seating for up to five passengers, it’s well outfitted in the base model, and has plenty of upper trim levels and addable options to make it customizable to your needs. Standard equipment includes: 16” steel wheels, personalized 3.5” instrument cluster, remote entry, antitheft system, height adjustable rear cargo floor, powered windows with express up/down, media-enhanced steering wheel with audio controls, hill-start assist, forward-folding front passenger seat, My Sky™ dual-panel, open-air roof with overhead storage options, 60/40 or 40/20/40 split folding rear bench, 6,5” touchscreen command console with Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, GPS, HD and satellite radio. Upgrades can get you things like all-wheel-drive, 17” premium alloy wheels, custom embroidered leather seating, off-road Trailhawk outfitting, larger 7” configurable touchscreen display, collision mitigation system and much more. Under the hood is a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. This can be upgraded to a 2.4-liter engine that gets 184 horsepower and 177 pound-feet. Jeep offers a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
