2015 model year changes
The BMW 6-Series enters into 2015 with a new Harman/Kardon audio system that will be an option on certain models. In addition, BMW have introduced a new model to the 6-series lineup, the Alpina B6 Gran Coupe. The Alpina B6 Gran Coupe is a more bespoke, less hard-core alternative to BMW's own M6 Gran Coupe. It boasts slightly less horsepower, but a more luxurious cabin and slightly more comfort oriented settings for the suspension. It also comes with all-wheel drive, unlike the M6.

The 2015 BMW 6-Series continues BMW's tradition of high-speed grand-touring models by laying down the fundamentals in a capable-handling Coupe, Convertible or 4-door Gran Coupe model, then offering a long list of high-tech enhancements that can improve performance. Meanwhile, the Gran Coupe is an unusual offering, with the sleek roofline of a coupe and all the performance of the 2-door 6-Series models, complemented by four doors and enough rear-seat space for adults. M6 models continue to stun with their over-the-top performance and a dynamic personality that can be dialed in with various settings for all of its electronic controls.
Featuring a performance-geared styling and stance, the 2015 BMW 6 Series exists as a product delivering a diverse vehicle selection. The two-door coupe and convertible model of the 2015 BMW 6 Series remain a popular, conventional way to experience thrilling German performance and luxury together. Joining the line-up in 2013, the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is classified as a four-door coupe. Power for the 2015 BMW 6 Series comes from either a six-cylinder or an eight-cylinder engine. The 640i models of the 2015 BMW 6 Series are propelled by a 315-horsepower, TwinPower Turbo 3.0-liter inline-six powerplant can provide power solely through the rear wheels or with xDrive all-wheel drive. For heightened performance, the 2015 BMW 6 Series 650i models are powered by 4.4-liter V-8 twin-turbocharged engine delivering 445 horsepower. Standard features found on the 2015 BMW 6 Series vehicles include keyless entry, cruise control, automatic HID headlights, Bluetooth connectivity and BMW’s iDrive system. An optional M Sport Edition package is also offered on the 2015 BMW 6 Series line featuring a defining aerodynamic package on the outside while a leather steering wheel and blue-stitched Alcantara/leather sport seats is found on the inside.
