2015 model year changes

The Audi A3 is completely redesigned for 2015. Unlike previous model years, with the A3 positioned as a 4-door hatchback, the new A3 is instead a small sedan. The premium sedan is offered in three different trims, with either turbocharged 1.8L or 2.0L power mated to a 6-speed Audi S tronic dual-clutch transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, with Audi's excellent quattro all-wheel drive available, and Audi claims the 2.0 is capable of 0-60 mph is 5.8 seconds. Arriving later in 2014 will be an A3 cabriolet, an A3 TDI clean diesel, and a potent S3, with a gasoline-electric hybrid A3 e-tron coming in 2015. Pricing for the new A3 sedan starts at $29,900.

Special features for 2015

The reinvented Audi A3 is poised to make a big splash in the compact sedan segment. The A3 abounds with attractive athleticism, and it pioneers and technology features such as a 4G LTE data connection and an advanced multi-media interface. Against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz CLA250, it more than holds its own and the overall package makes it hard to ignore.
The S3 has arrived in 2015, offered as a sedan, and not the trademark hatchback that’s it been for so many years. This car is about as high-performance as compact luxury sedans come, offering a bit more than its A3 cousin. A new reduced-weight platform features front or all-wheel-drive while maximizing interior room. A four-mode driving system gives driver’s the power to choose how their car handles, including features like managing the throttle, the shifting points and even the steering response. Sport-tuned suspension carries the car, gliding it over the road with ease on 18” alloy wheels. Curvy and sexy marks the outside. Inside you will find familiar creature comforts that include a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen premium sound system, new gauge clusters, leather seating, panoramic sunroof, Bluetooth/iPod/USB integration, GPS system, pre-sense safety system, adaptive cruise control, collision warning and blind-spot monitoring system, and ever so much more. The S3 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 292 horsepower. The car is backed by a four-year/50,000-mile warranty.
