2015 model year changes

The Acura TLX is all new for this year. The TLX will replace both the Acura TL and the TSX going into 2015, slotting right in between the two cars in terms of size. With both an efficient 4-cylinder as well as a powerful V6 on offer, the new TLX will have its bases well covered.

Special features for 2015

With a base price far more in line with the outgoing TSX than with the outgoing, but upmarket TL, the new TLX represents an excellent value. Competitors include the Lexus ES350, the Mercedes-Benz CLS, the Audi A4 and the BMW 3-series. With a base price that starts just below $31,000, the TLX undercuts many of its rivals, while still offering plenty of space, sophisticated drivetrains and a modern chassis.
A capable midsized luxury sedan, the Acura TLX comes in two trim levels that include: TL and TL SH-AWD (all-wheel-drive). The base model has plenty to offer for buyers, and includes features like 17” alloy wheels, xenon headlights (automatic), fog lights, powered sun roof, side mirrors that are heated, remote entry, two-zone climate control (automatic), leather upholstery, powered front seats that are heated, auto-dim rearview mirror, Bluetooth/USB/iPod connectivity and an eight-speaker premium audio system. Upgraded trim levels and optional add-ons can get you even more features like 18” or 19” wheels, a stylish rear spoiler, sports-tuning (brakes and suspension), contrast stitching on the upholstery, voice-activated control system with rearview camera, GPS and touchscreen control console, 10-speaker luxury audio system, adaptive climate control, blind spot and collision warning system, and many others. The TL comes standard with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that makes 280 horsepower and 254 pound-feet of torque. This can be upgraded to a 3.7-liter V6 that churns out 305 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque (available in the TL SH-AWD model). The TLX comes with a lucrative 48-month/50,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.
