The 2014 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Passenger Van is a twelve passenger full-size van that can be equipped with a standard 2.1-liter 4-cylinder BlueTEC diesel engine (161 hp) or an optional BlueTEC SCR turbocharged V6 diesel engine (188 hp). A 7-speed automatic transmission and RWD drivetrain come standard. The 144" and 170" wheel bases can be paired with a standard or high roof, for an interior standing height of 6'4". Options include halogen headlamps, 16-inch wheels, automatic heating, navigation, automatic air conditioning; reverse warning system, mounting roof racks, two-stage opening sliding door and chrome trimmed radiator grill. Safety is comprised of front airbags, adaptive electronic stability (ESC), electronic brake distribution (EBD), brake assist (BA), collision prevention assist, lane assist, blind spot assist and anti-lock braking (ABS). The Sprinter Passenger Van is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter enters 2014 with a new front end design that echoes its more athletic Mercedes automobile cousins, with an attractive, upright grille, revised headlights, and more pronounced contours to the hood. A new 2.1L 4-cylinder BlueTEC turbo diesel engine is now standard. It produces 161 horsepower and 265 ft-lb of torque, with maximum torque available from 1,400 rpm and is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The diesel V6 carries on unchanged. New available accident avoidance systems include Collision Prevention Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Highbeam Assist and Lane Keeping Assist. Finally, interior materials have been upgraded, including firmer, more breathable and more durable seating.
