The CX-9 is powered by a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 273 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque. Drivetrain options consist of a standard FWD and an optional active torque split AWD. Equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission the CX-9 achieves an EPA estimated 16 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.
