Major updates were in store for Hyundai in 2014. All new Accents got a driver-side blind spot mirror, sliding sun visors and triple-blink turn signals, in addition to all trim levels being updated. Retuned steering on the Genesis improved handling, while the Azera’s price range dropped and it got the same retuned steering system as the Genesis. A restyled Elantra sedan debuted, boasting a new infotainment system, upgraded engine and quieter cabin, while the Equus got a new front end, new instrument panel and updated safety features. Sonata was updated the most, with new driver-selectable steering, sport-tuned exhaust system, upgraded 2.4-liter engine and a quieter cabin. The Tucson received standard LED running lights, a 4.3” touchscreen interface and optional GPS. The base model Veloster also was upgraded, with LED running lights and a driver side blind spot mirror being added as standard equipment.
