2014 model year changes
For 2014, the Honda Odyssey receives a minor facelift, with a new hood, grille, bumper, and headlight treatment. Inside, all Odyssey trims feature standard Bluetooth hands-free connectivity, 4-way power passenger seat, Pandora radio interface and SMS text messaging functionality. New available features include Honda's LaneWatch blind spot monitor, Forward Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning. All Odyssey trims now feature the 6-speed automatic transmission previously limited to Touring and Touring Elite models. Touring and Touring Elite models now include HondaVAC, the world's first in-vehicle vacuum cleaner. Finally, the 2014 Odyssey benefits from a reinforced frontal crash structure, which has earned the van the highest rating of Top Safety Pick+ from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), making it the first minivan to earn the rating.

Special features for 2014
The 2014 Odyssey stands out from the pack by offering an especially thoughtful, versatile interior layout and stylish design. The Odyssey's 3-mode second-row seat is also a standout in its class, able to fold, widen for passenger comfort, or become narrower for easier access to the third row. And the Odyssey remains one of the sportiest-driving minivans available -- especially with respect to handling. Feature-wise, the Odyssey is the first minivan to offer an all-digital entertainment system with a high-resolution HDMI input to keep it compatible with modern electronics. For safety, Honda also claims to offer the most LATCH child seat positions of any vehicle -- a total of five to easily allow four child seats of any design. And for the first time, the Odyssey has earned an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety Top Safety Pick+, the highest honor ever bestowed upon a minivan.
