Bought used at 1 year. 160,000 miles, no problems. Like the lay flat seats. Road trips with a sleeping bag. Sometimes shift is a little off as it looks for proper gear but I have a lead foot. It does get up and go. No probs with filter housing. Might be due to over tightening but not sure. Like I said, I have had no problems.

2014 model year has major oil leak problems with the oil filter housing. Also the hv/ac system is extremely problematic. The actuators and switches commonly go bad requiring replacement and reprogramming of the electric switches which can only be done at a dealership.

We bought the car brand new and couldn''t quite figure out why it kept pulling to the left. 5 alignments and 4 years later - it''s dog tracking badly. I drove by another Dodge Grand Caravan and sure enough, it was doing the same thing. Don''t touch this car! The Dodge dealer won''t even do alignments -they outsource them. I asked them about the problem and they wouldn''t discuss it as they don''t do alignments.

Rocker arm bearings bank1 and now 2. Rear a/c not blowing. Cant keep alignment cylinder 3 misfire code.air fuel imbalance code. Transmission is a joke snatching and shifting gears since the 1st payment was made. I''ve only ran Mobil 1 top tier synthetic every 5000 miles. Not to mention the oil filter housing that is made from Lego blocks. Known problem in all penestar pos engines. But Dodge will not admit its flaws evem though the 2nd gen.oil housing is made of metel.. Lift gate motor arm broke at knuckle. Biggest piece of *** excuse for a vehicle I''ve ever had. Govt should recall all Chrysle

I have owned the 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan AVP for a year. It gets 14.5 mpg in town and can get 23 mpg on the highway. I got it on sale new for $18,000 which is not much more than a smaller car. I spend less than $140 a month for gas. have not had any trouble with it for repairs. It came with a removable 1st row back seat that does not fold into the floor. This is OK for me and it still has the under the floor storage areas that are very handy for storing tools, etc. out of the sight of thieves. The 2nd row back seats do fold into the floor. It does not come with a spare tire. Good car.
