Following the Dodge Dart's debut last year, the 2014 model sees one notable change: The 184-horsepower, 2.4L 4-cylinder engine is now standard on the Dart SXT, Limited and GT. The SE soldiers on with the 2.0L, while the Dart Aero keeps the Fiat-sourced 1.4L turbo. Elsewhere, a 6-speed automatic transmission is now standard on the Dart Limited.

Dart models start at just under $16,000 for the SE and top out at about $23,000 for the Limited. Additional engine options consist of a 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine (160 hp/184 lb-ft of torque) and a 2.4-liter Tigershark 4-cylinder engine (184 hp/171 lb-ft of torque). FWD can be paired to a standard 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic transmission, or 6-speed automatic DDCT.
