Special features for 2013
The GranTurismo is Maserati's high-performance grand-touring sport coupe, featuring strong Ferrari designed V8 engines and 2+2 seating. Compared to other grand-touring coupes like the Jaguar XK, BMW M6 or even the Audi R8, the GranTurismo has Italian design on its side, with an unmistakable expressiveness and flair--and an unmistakable engine sound--that simply isn't found in the more engineering-focused German grand-tourers. The GranTurismo models also have more opportunity for personalization.
Carried over for 2013, the Maserati GranTurismo Convertible is a luxury two-door 2+2 soft-top supercar powered by a 4.7-liter V8 engine that produces 433 hp for a 0-60 time around 5.15 seconds and a top speed of 175 mph. Upgrading to the C. Sport trim level boosts performance to 444 hp . RWD and a 6-speed automatic transmission enables the GranTurismo Convertible to achieve an EPA estimated 13 mpg city and 20 mpg highway, for a combined 15 mpg. Standard features include alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, electronically adjustable suspension, adaptive bi-xenon headlamps, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, navigation, and surround-sound. Safety is comprised of front-impact airbags, side-impact airbags, stability control (ESC), and anti-lock braking (ABS). The GranTurismo Convertible is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
