Special features for 2013

Thanks to its aggressive styling, the TL stands out in its class; its two separate models cater separately to comfort-oriented buyers and performance enthusiasts. Although the TL is not priced particularly low, the sum of technology features offered in the TL is better than most other mid-size luxury cars.
A mid-size luxury sedan with seating for five, the 2013 Acura TL is a unique blend of safety, sport, and reliability. Under the hood drivers will find a standard 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of producing 280 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque, for a 0-60 time of 6.4 seconds. For additional performance Acura offers an optional 3.7-liter V6 engine that yields 305 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque. The standard engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission while the optional 3.7-liter V6 has the option of a 6-speed manual transmission. Drivetrains consist of a standard FWD and optional AWD, enabling the TL to achieve fuel mileage within an EPA estimated range of 17 mpg city to 29 mpg highway. Features include xenon HID headlights, moonroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, navigation, leather upholstery, heated seats, automatic climate control, hands-free phone connectivity, and rear-view camera. Safety is comprised of anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), advanced airbags, vehicle stability assist (VSA), and tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). The TL is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
