Acura has redesigned the RDX for the 2013 model year. Being a complete redesign, Acura's compact crossover SUV receives a bevy of changes, including new sheetmetal and a switch to V6 power. The interior is likewise redesigned and now features new technologies like Pandora Radio and an SMS text messaging feature. A wider wheelbase, longer track and lower center of gravity combine to give the new RDX improved handling dynamics without compromising the ride, while also providing more interior volume for driver and passengers.

The RDX is Acura's compact Luxury SUV. Capable of seating 5 people, it is stylish, modern and somewhat sportier than many of its rivals. The RDX has been optimized for on road performance and fuel economy rather than serious offroad work, but all-wheel drive is available. The RDX features a luxurious quiet interior with plenty of standard features.
New for 2013, the Acura RDX is a compact luxury crossover SUV powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 273 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission the RDX fuel consumption falls within an EPA estimated range of 19 mpg city to 28 mpg highway, depending on drivetrain selection (FWD or optional AWD). Features include rearview camera, leather seats, HID headlights, automatic climate control, premium surround sound system, USB/iPod integration, navigation system, and power tailgate. Vehicle safety is comprised of a six-airbag system, vehicle stability assist, anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), and brake assist (BA). The RDX is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
