Carried over for 2012, the Ferrari California is a RWD, front-mid engine, grand touring hard-top convertible super car. The California is powered by a direct injected 4.3-liter V8 engine that produces 460 hp and 357 lb-ft of torque. Mating the engine with a 7-speed dual-clutch F1 transmission enables the California to achieve a 0-60 time less than 4 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. Superior handling can be attributed to an advanced suspension consisting of double wishbone in the front and multilink in the back. The car oozes with versatility with an aluminum hard-top that can be opened or closed in under 14 seconds and 2+ configuration with room in the rear that can altered to make the seats child specific or be used for storage space. Safety features include airbags, stability control, traction control, tire pressure monitoring, and temperature monitoring system. The California is backed by a new 7-year maintenance program.

For 2012, Ferrari has made the California even faster. Ferrari upped the horsepower and cut the weight of the car. Power has been increased by 30 horses while weight has been reduced by about 66 lbs. The result is a faster car, both in a straight line and in the corners.
