2011 model year changes
The biggest news for the FX is its lower price for 2011. Even with the price drop, the 2011 FX got a few new features, such as a standard power liftgate and a new color, Malbec Black. Other changes occurred in the options lineup, in which the Navigation Package has been added to the Premium Package for the FX35, and a Deluxe Touring Package with cosmetic upgrades has been added for the FX50.
Distinctive design; spirited performance; lower price for 2011
Special features for 2011
The FX35 has had its price dropped by $1250 over last year's model, and the top-end FX50 price tag came down by $2600. The FX loses nothing in the bargain, and even gains a few options. The FX manages to keep its sporty performance in a crossover body with an appealing design.
Redesigned in 2009, the 2011 Infiniti FX35 is a V-6 variant of the luxury brand's sporty-looking crossover. The 303 horsepower, 3.5 liter double overhead cam V-6 engine is paired with a super smooth 7-speed automatic transmission delivering the 2011 FX35 front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive traction. Electronic brake assist and traction control assures optimum grip of tires riding on 18-inch wheels. Inside of the 2011 Infiniti FX35, standard features include dual-zone climate control, Bose 11-speaker audio system with a 2 gigabyte hard drive storage unit, 7-inch color information screen as well as leather seating with 10-way power driver seat and 8-way passenger adjustment. XM NavTraffic and NavWeather, rear seat DVD entertainment or even the Zagat Survey Restaurant Guide can be added for an extra cost. Automatic HID headlamps with an adaptive front lighting system, LED taillights, power rear tailgate and integrated rear spoiler accents the already shapely exterior of the 2011 Infiniti FX35. A standard feature on the 2011 FX35 is an on-line guide called Snug Kids which provides parents information for choosing and installing a proper child seat.
