A great family car but seems to be a little too much road noise (may be the brand of tire). Will research this before tire replacement. One unanswered question has to do with securing baby seats in 2nd row; confusing about baby seat locking hooks on the 2nd row 60/40 seats. There is a set of hooks for one baby seat on the right side (40%), 2nd set of hooks in the middle for a 2nd baby seat (part of the 60%), but NO hooks on the LEFT door 60% side? Although I am sure there is a logical GM/Chevy explanation for this, it is a real pain if there are 3 babies. 40% side w/baby seat prevents easy 3rd

This is the fourth 5.3 liter engine I have owned in either a suburban or tahoe really like the combo of the 5.3 and the new 6 speed automatic. This is the first of the four that has not gone through brake pads - neither front or rear are showing much wear with almost 50K on the clock. Gas mileage while better is not what the GM (Government Motors) claims on the website or they used straight gas with no junk ethanol - I can only squeek out the 21MPG on the highway when driving 60-62 MPH on lonnnng highway trips with not many hills. That said the fuel economy is impressive.
