2010 model year changes
After getting all-new engines and some other significant improvements in 2009, the Cayman is carried over to 2010 essentially unchanged.
Voluptuous, coupe-like styling; sport-sedan performance; excellent handling; lavish interior appointments; high-tech safety and convenience options
Special features for 2010
Although the Cayman might not be quite as fast as other exotics, it provides one of the best sports-car driving experiences, with critically lauded steering and handling and costs less than Porsche's own flagship 911 Carrera. With good cargo space, respectable fuel economy and decent driver and passenger comfort, it makes more everyday sense than a number of other performance-oriented machines.
A two-passenger RWD sports coupe, the 2010 Porsche Cayman offers a thrilling ride at a price below that of the hallowed 911. The Cayman is offered in two trims; the base and the more powerful S. The base Cayman has a 265 hp 2.9L six-cylinder engine in the back, while the S utilizes a 320 hp 3.4L six-cylinder. Both engines come standard with a six-speed manual transmission, however the Porsche PDK seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is optional.
