A compact SUV, the 2010 Mazda Tribute seats five passengers and is available in three trim levels with three powertrain choices. The base engine is a 171 hp 2.5L inline four-cylinder engine paired with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. A 3.0L V6 is offered which produces 240 hp and is linked to the six-speed automatic. The third powertrain option is a Hybrid gas-electric four-cylinder engine mated to a CVT. The Hybrid version is rated at 34 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway.
For 2010, the Mazda Tribute gets no significant changes, though V6 "s" models are now only available in Grand Touring trim.
