2010 Acura MDX Values
Select a 2010 Acura MDX trim level
The 2010 Acura MDX is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV which has been restyled inside and out for the new year. The MDX is powered by a 300 hp 3.7L V6 engine that is paired with a brand-new paddle-shift six-speed automatic transmission. Standard features include Bluetooth connectivity, tri-zone climate control, satellite radio, and a power moonroof.
2010 model year changes
The MDX got quite a makeover for 2010, including a revamped, love-it-or-hate-it V-shaped grille that brings the SUV in line with the rest of Acura's design language. Headlights and exhaust pipes got a more subtle treatment, while the interior retains the same layout with upgraded materials and technology.
The biggest difference for 2010 is in the drivetrain, where the MDX is the first Acura to receive Honda's 6-speed automatic transmission, which in this case is mated to a new 3.7L V6. The combination is quick and smooth, and the extra gear at the top offers a one mile per gallon lift to the gas mileage over 2009.
Competitive comparison
Lots of improvements for 2010; lots of power with good handling; tons of available technology
Special features for 2010
This 7-seater SUV has a nice array of standard features even at the base level, and the options list is pretty lengthy. There's plenty of room for a family and its gear -- and the MDX includes 10 cupholders for just such duty. Fit and finish is across the board excellent, and a very quiet cabin. Super Handling all wheel drive is more for on-pavement performance than off-roading, but for those looking for a minivan or station wagon upgrade, the MDX performs admirably.
