This year corolla (and other toyotas) has problems with a cheap paint job. They will not do anything about the paint. To me, it seems to drive funny, not like other cars. Other than about 6 recalls (airbags being one), no real mechanical issues.

212,000 miles and still looks new. Driven in NY all year and zero rust problems after that many miles. Did 3 water pumps though, but no complaints! great car.
