2008 Maybach 62S Values
Select a 2008 Maybach 62S trim level
The 2008 Maybach 62 S is a luxuriously-equipped, top-of-the-line four door Sedan offering seating capacity for up to five passengers. The S stands for Special, which is a racier version of the standard Maybach 62. The Maybach 62 S offers additional power and exclusive appointments, including clamps to hold the vehicle’s silver champagne flutes, a refrigerated center console, rear seats that can fully recline and power closing doors for added convenience. It also features a 604 horsepower 6.0-liter V12, with safety features that include airbags, ABS brakes and park assist.
2008 model year changes
For 2008, the Maybach lineup receives fairly minor changes, including a new standard pneumatic door closing assist and a rollover sensor. The 57S and 62S now ride on 20-inch wheels instead of 19-inch alloys.
Competitive comparison
Make "typical" ultra-luxury sedans seem austere; heavenly ride; remarkable comfort; incredible power; all the prestige you'll ever need.
Special features for 2008
It seems odd to consider the word "value" in a car that costs well over $300,000; instead, the word "prestige" is more appropriate. The 2008 Maybach is in the same rarefied air as the most luxurious new cars in the world. Mercedes-Benz resurrected this illustrious brand in 2004, and it continues to ably fill the market needs of those who demand a personalized luxury experience that cannot be duplicated by any ordinary mode of transportation.
