Cadillac's popular CTS is presented with a massive update for the 2008 model year. Longer in overall length and treated to an all-new front end appearance, the 2008 Cadillac CTS boasts technological improvements such as engines using gasoline direct injection as well as optional all-wheel drive. The CTS-V takes a temporary departure from the Cadillac line-up with an all-new model expected for 2009. The Cadillac DTS gains the availability to advanced safety equipment for the 2008 model year. Lane Departure Warning and Side Blind Spot Alert is optional with the luxury sedan. The DTS' Performance package is replaced by the arrival of the highly-appointed Platinum model. A Platinum trimmed 2008 Cadillac STS also debuts furnishing the interior with high-grade leather as well as chrome accents. For the first time, the longer-length ESV version of the Cadillac Escalade can be opted with rear-wheel drive for 2008.
