2007 model year changes
For 2007, the big news for the Volkswagen Jetta is a very noteworthy drop in price. The Jetta's base price is cut $1400 compared with the 2006 model, yet it also has increased standard equipment, including an auxiliary input jack and cruise control. Salsa Red joint the color palette. The diesel-powered TDI models are no longer available for 2007. A Wolfsburg Edition and a Fahrenheit GLI trim are new as well.

Special features for 2007
With more standard equipment and a much lower price, the 2007 VW Jetta--especially the 2.5 model--stands out as a very strong value in its size class. What's more, it is also one of the most refined small sedans for the money. And with the 2.0T, the Jetta turns into a sleeper sport sedan that still returns good fuel economy.
