2007 model year changes
Pontiac's Solstice aims to avoid a sophomore slump for 2007 by adding a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine to its 2.4L Ecotec I4. The turbo boosts power from 177 hp to 260 hp, making it the most powerful two-seat drop top on the market priced below $27,000. The base style continues with a few new options, including a rear spoiler, metallic pedals, and an auxiliary input jack added to the upgraded audio systems. The entry price was raised by $1,600 over 2006 to $21,515.

Special features for 2007
The 2007 Pontiac Solstice continues to offer exceptional styling, and the new GXP trim provides terrific performance. The Solstice's low base price makes it a real alternative to Mazda's perennial favorite, the Miata, and Mitsubishi's Eclipse Spyder.
A carry-over style-wise from 2006, there are now two models of the Solstice, the base model with its 2.4liter inline four-cylinder and 177HP, and the new GXP that features a 2.0Liter turbo-charged four-cylinder that cranks out 260HP. Both are standard with a five-speed manual transmission or the optional four-speed automatic.
