2007 model year changes
The GMC Sierra Classic heavy-duty 2500HD and 3500HD models continue for 2007 with no changes.
Powerful optional diesel engine with scads of torque; terrific tow ratings; proven design.
Special features for 2007
The heavy-duty versions of the popular 2007 GMC Sierra Classic are offered at a substantial savings versus the redesigned versions to be phased in through the year, and the Classic line represents a good value versus other similarly equipped trucks on the market. Strong payload and tow ratings are still the Sierra's core strength, and few of its peers can compete on those two fronts.
A carry-over from 2006, the 2007 Sierra 3500HD offers up to six-passenger seating in WT, SL and SLT trim levels. The standard engine is the 6.0Liter V8 that produces 300HP and 360LB-FT of torque. There is also a 6.6Liter V8 turbo-charged DuraMax diesel engine with an Allison six-speed automatic transmission offered as an option on all models.
