For 2007 the F250 XL is now available with the power group option, in addition to the Lariat Highline Edition and the Lariat Outlaw Package. A four-door up to six passenger heavy-duty pick up truck that is offered in both super-cab and crew-cab configuration, with a choice of XL, XLT or Lariat trim levels. The base engine is the 5.4Liter Triton V8 that produces 300HP. You can upgrade to the 6.0Liter V8 that delivers 325HP. All models have a five-speed automatic transmission.
2007 model year changes
Several new special-appearance versions of Ford's Super Duty pickups are available for 2007. A Lariat Highline Edition, which dresses the Super Duty up in chrome, is available on F-250 and F-350 SRW SuperCab models. There's also the more adventuresome Lariat Outlaw Package, available on those same models, with a black monotone treatment. Also, the Harley-Davidson version is now available in three new color combinations: Black with Medium Wedgewood Blue Flames, Dark Stone with Black Flames, and Medium Wedgewood with Black Flames.
F-250 and F-350 SRW gasoline V8 models now have a 4.10:1 non-limited-slip axle standard.
Otherwise, more equipment is now available on the base XL model. A Power Equipment Group adds several popular conveniences, the cloth 40/20/40-split bench is now available, and tilt steering is now optional on all XL models.
