2007 model year changes
For 2007, the Dodge Sprinter's wheelbases were revised. Gone are the 118-inch, 140-inch, and 158-inch versions, while 144-inch and 170-inch vans are new. Accordingly, cargo capacity is increased. Instead of the 2.7L turbo diesel inline five-cylinder engine that powered the 2006 fleet, a 3.0L turbo diesel V6 is standard. A 3.5L V6 gas engine can now be ordered as well. Other new standard items include power windows, power door locks, halogen headlights, tilt steering, AM/FM stereo with a CD player, and adaptive electronic stability control.
Huge family van; comfortable ride.
Special features for 2007
The 2007 Dodge Sprinter continues to offer versatility to those who need to transport both goods and people. It can be configured to accommodate anywhere from seven to ten passengers, and a high roof option adds lots of headroom or cargo space. On the road, the Sprinter drives like it is much smaller than it is. When properly equipped, the Sprinter can tow approximately 8,000 pounds.
