I bought a 2003 x-type used in 2011 with 21,000 miles. It has been very dependable. The only real issue in 7 years was a fuel pump failure. The all wheel drive system works well and the front seats are very comfortable. It is a hard riding car and has a steering wheel vibration at highway speeds that no one has been able to correct. I will eventually replace the tires and wheels with the best tires I can. I have replaced the tires once but that alone did not correct the problem. I would purchase an x-type again even though I do not like the hard ride. It has been very dependable.

Purchased my 2003 Jaguar X-Type (a.k.a. "AWDCAT) on my 50th Birthday in 2010. I really enjoy the Jaguar and it gets compliments on a regular basis. Interior finishes are not consistent: some are great and some are poor. The ride is excellent and it is great in snow, although I no longer take it out if raining or snowing. I added the OEM roof rails, OEM boot cargo net with auto-lift, new OEM front floor mats and have replaced all of the engine compartment labels and keep the engine clean! I have own numerous awards at car shows and Jaguar Concourses. Great car.
