A sporty mid-size, the five-passenger 2000 Pontiac Grand Am is available as a coupe or a sedan. The base engine is a 2.4L 150 hp four-cylinder engine. Two V6 engines are available; the SE has a 3.4L making 170 hp while the GT squeezes out 175 hp. A five-speed manual transmission is available as is a four-speed automatic.
