A business with roots tracing back to 1947 as a rental agent of utility trailers, Canada’s Alberta Trailer Company eventually became Atco. Atco produced travel trailers for a short time for the recreational vehicle market ending after the 1978 model year. While Atco abandoned their travel trailer business in the late 1970s, the Atco name is also attached to many modular units for commercial interests. Atco’s core business it centered on electric and gas supply companies.
