2009 Mercury Milan
2009 Mercury Milan
A carryover for 2009, the Mercury Milan, a 5- passenger, 4-door midsize sedan, now offers stability control as optional on all trim levels, and the Voga (Spanish for "fashion") trim package features numerous interior and exterior design enhancements. The Mercury Milan base 2.3L four-cylinder engine is rated at 160 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a standard five-speed manual transmission, while a five-speed automatic is optional on the base trim and standard on the Premier. A 3.0L 221-hp V6 engine with 205 lb-ft of torque is optional and is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. Four-cylinder Milans are front-wheel drive, while AWD is optional on V6 trims. Fuel economy for the base Milan with manual transmission is 20 mpg city/29 mpg hwy and 23 mpg combined, while the automatic rates 20/28/23 mpg. Front-wheel-drive V6 trims get 18/26/21 mpg, but the all-wheel-drive V6 version drops those numbers to 17/25/20 mpg. Mercury Milan standard safety equipment includes stability control, antilock disc brakes, front-seat side airbags and side-curtain airbags.
