For 2009, the Lincoln MKX luxury midsize crossover SUV features a few enhancements over last year, including a standard power lift gate, a universal garage-door opener and a front-passenger grab-handle. Offering just one trim level, the five-passenger MKX comes with 18-inch wheels, leather seating, dual-zone automatic climate control and a leather/wood steering wheel. Notable options include the Vista Roof sliding front sunroof and rear skylight, a navigation system and 14-speaker surround-sound audio with an in-dash CD changer/MP3 player. Available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive, the MKX is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine generating 265 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque paired to a six-speed automatic transmission. EPA-estimated fuel economy for the front-wheel-drive trim registers 17 mpg city/24 mpg hwy, while the all-wheel-drive achieves 15/22 mpg.
