A two-door, two-passenger roadster, the 2009 Porsche Boxster receives an updated look and improved engine performance. The base Boxster is powered by a 2.9L six-cylinder engine making 255 hp, while the Boxster S features a 3.4L 310 hp six-cylinder and both are connected to a six-speed manual transmission. A new option for the 2009 Porsche Boxster is Porsche's PDK seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox which features lighting fast shifts and steering wheel mounted paddles. Also new this year is an available limited slip rear differential, a new headlight design, LED daytime driving lights, and LED rear lights. |
