For 2009, head-curtain airbags and satellite radio are now standard on the 2009 Pontiac Torrent, and Bluetooth is optional. A well-equipped midsize crossover SUV, the Torrent is available in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive and is powered by a 3.4L V6 engine generating 185 hp and 210 lb-ft of torque coupled to a five-speed automatic transmission. Also available is the Torrent GXP 3.6L V6 engine with 264 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque.
