After significant changes last year, the 2009 Nissan Armada full-size SUV receives only minor upgrades this year. With seating for seven or eight passengers, Armada's impressive combination of comfort and utility includes features such as an optional power 60/40 third-row bench seat, power adjustable pedals and much more. Available with rear- or four-wheel drive and paired to a five-speed automatic transmission, the Armada's 5.6L V8 engine churns out 317 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque — enough to tow up to 9,100 pounds, when properly equipped with the optional tow package. Nissan Armada EPA fuel economy estimates stand at 12 mpg city/18 mpg hwy. Armada standard safety features include antilock disc brakes with brake assist, stability control, front seat active head restraints and full-length side curtain airbags, while front seat side airbags are optional on the SE and standard on the LE. |
