The 4-passenger 2009 Jaguar XK 2-door, with a choice of hard-top coupe or convertible trims, now features 19-inch wheels, air-quality sensor, front parking sensors and control, power-folding mirrors, and surround-sound audio system including satellite radio and auxiliary USB audio unit. The XKR V8 Super Portfolio Package has also been revised to feature 20-inch wheels, upgraded leather interior, Bowers & Wilkins sound system and "shadow grey" paint. The 2009 Jaguar XK is powered by a 4.2L V8 producing 300 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control, resulting in EPA fuel economy estimates of 16 mpg city/25 mpg hwy. The XKR boasts a supercharged V8, producing 420 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque with fuel economy in the 15 mpg city/23 mpg hwy range. Jaguar XK safety features provide antilock brakes, stability and traction control, front-seat side airbags and whiplash-reducing front seats. XK convertibles feature two aluminum hoops that deploy automatically in the event of a rollover accident. |
