2009 Ford Super Duty F-450
The 2009 Ford Super Duty F-450 is a large four-door pickup truck built to haul serious loads. The only available engine for the F-450 is the 6.4L twin-turbodiesel V8 which puts out 350 hp and an awe-inspiring 650 lb-ft of torque at only 2,000 RPM. This powerplant is connected to the standard six-speed manual transmission. The rear end of the F-450 comes standard with a 4.3-ratio limited-slip axle which allows it to tow 24,500 pounds when equipped with a fifth-wheel hitch. Payload capacity is rated at 6,120 pounds for all trims. Ford's TorqShift five-speed automatic transmission is an option with the Super Duty F-450. Ford Super Duty F-450 standard features include 19.5-inch polished alloy wheels, a heavy-duty trailer hitch, a trailer brake controller, air-conditioning and an AM/FM/CD player. The Super Duty F-450 includes such safety features as four-wheel disc ABS, electronic brake force distribution, dual-stage front airbags and a post-collision safety system.
