For 2009, the 4-door, 4-passenger Chrysler Sebring is upgraded with standard four-wheel antilock disc brakes, while all trims but the base LX model gain stability control as standard equipment. The 2009 Chrysler Sebring sedan is available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive; however, Sebring convertibles are front-wheel-drive only. Sebring sedan standard features include a 2.4L four-cylinder engine generating 173 hp and 166 lb-ft of torque, while fuel economy is estimated at 21 mpg city/30 mpg hwy and 24 mpg combined. Available on the Touring trim of the Sebring is a 2.7L V6 engine with 189 hp and 191 lb-ft of torque and 4-speed transmission getting fuel economy in the19/27/22 mpg ranges, while the convertible drops the numbers by 1 mpg. Optional on the Sebring Limited is a 3.5L V6 that produces 235 hp and 232 lb-ft of torque attached to a six-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive is available. Front-wheel drive models claim fuel economy of16/27/20, but the all-wheel drive drops each category by 1 mpg. |
