For 2009, the Cadillac XLR offers only the Platinum trim level but does so with upgrades that include new front and rear fascias, a power-dome hood, Bluetooth connectivity and stylish interior updates, such as new wood and metal accents, leather-wrapped upper-dash panel and updated instrument cluster. The XLR retractable hardtop roadster offers fresh exterior styling cues along with additional luxury features. Powered by a 4.6L V8 engine delivering 320 hp and 310 lb-ft of torque, the rear-wheel drive XLR is equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission with manual-style shifting. Cadillac XLR standard features ensure the two-door lives up to its luxury nameplate with a long list of amenities that includes keyless entry, heated and cooled front seats, premium Bose audio system, advanced navigation and a heads-up display that projects key driver information onto the windshield.
