2025 Buick Enclave Preview
Showcasing exterior styling inspired by the Buick Wildcat EV concept, the redesigned 2025 Buick Enclave arrives with a refined and upgraded interior, a standard 30-inch display, and, in a Buick first, available Super Cruise hands-free driver-assist technology.
Last redesigned for the 2018 model year and refreshed in 2022, the 2025 Enclave is Buick's largest offering in its all-SUV lineup, slotting in directly above the compact Envision. It comes in Preferred, Sport Touring (ST), and Avenir trim levels, and all models have a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive (FWD) is standard, while all-wheel drive (AWD) is available.

The 2025 Enclave is the final Buick model to receive the brand's new design language—inspired by the Buick Wildcat EV concept—that first appeared on the refreshed 2024 Encore GX and, subsequently, the new Envista and 2024 Envision. Gone are the sweeping, curvy lines of the old Enclave, replaced by a more streamlined and chiseled look.
Distinctive features include a new hood-mounted tri-shield Buick badge, a revised front grille, and updated front and rear fascias. Other prominent exterior design elements include winged lighting, LED headlamps, and LED taillamps spanning the rear of the SUV. Sport Touring trim includes a gloss black grille surround and inserts and "ST" badging, while the top Avenir version features a panoramic sunroof and walk-up lighting.

Like the exterior, the 2025 Enclave's interior sees significant changes. Perhaps the most prominent feature is the new 30-inch panoramic display incorporating vehicle instrumentation and the infotainment touchscreen. Buick says the display is the largest in its class.
Located directly beneath the air vents is the "floating" center console. It contains a rotary controller for various vehicle settings, a wireless device charging pad, two cupholders, and a covered storage area.
All 2025 Enclaves feature multicolor ambient lighting, an auto-sensing power liftgate, and Buick's QuietTuning noise-isolation technology. Sport Touring versions include a flat-bottom steering wheel and exclusive trim and badging. Premium Avenir features include massaging front seats and a Power package that contains a head-up display, single-touch folding second-row seats, and power-folding third-row seats. The Power package is available on Preferred and ST trims.
Though Buick did not confirm, the new Enclave will likely have seating for up to eight passengers in Preferred trim. Meanwhile, ST and Avenir trims feature second-row captain's chairs and a rear bench seat, providing seating for seven.

Buick ditches the Enclave's venerable V6 engine for 2025 in favor of a new turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder. Power ratings are 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. No electrified version is available. All 2025 Enclaves employ a conventional eight-speed automatic transmission and come in FWD or AWD. Maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds.
The base Preferred and sporty ST trims have 20-inch alloy wheels, the latter with a machine finish and high-gloss black inserts. The top Avenir trim has 22-inch wheels with a Pearl Nickel finish. Whereas the ST version of the Enclave leans more toward sporty ride and handling characteristics, the upscale Avenir has an adaptive suspension, thus optimizing and refining ride comfort.

As with most redesigns, the 2025 Enclave introduces several new technologies to the model line. A new 30-inch panoramic display adorns the dashboard, housing driver information and infotainment. Additionally, a handful of new safety features includes Blind Zone Steering Assist (blind-spot warning with steering assistance), intersection turn assistance, traffic-sign recognition, lane-keeping assistance, and lane-departure warning.
Perhaps the most notable technology debut is the availability of Super Cruise, General Motors’ (GM) hands-free advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). Available for the first time on a Buick, Super Cruise will allow semi-autonomous driving on around 750,000 miles of roads in the United States and Canada through 2025.
Notably, Super Cruise will be available on every 2025 Enclave trim, not just the Avenir. The Super Cruise package will include a driver monitoring system and automatic parking assistance. Avenirs equipped with Super Cruise will also include a rearview camera mirror.
Regarding infotainment, the new Enclave comes with a Google-based system that includes Google Assistant and Google Maps and provides the means to control various vehicle functions. The standard infotainment package also includes wireless device charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and seven standard camera views. The Preferred and ST have a 12-speaker Bose audio system, whereas the Avenir has an upgraded Bose system with 16 speakers.
