Unchanged for 2014, the Acura RDX is a compact luxury crossover SUV powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 273 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission enables fuel economy within an EPA estimated range of 19 mpg city to 28 mpg highway, depending on drivetrain selection (standard FWD or optional AWD). Features include rearview camera, leather seats, HID headlights, automatic climate control, premium surround sound system, USB/iPod integration, navigation system, and power tailgate. Vehicle safety is comprised of advanced airbags, vehicle stability assist (VSA), anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic brake distribution (EBD), and brake assist (BA). The RDX is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.Read more Read less
The RDX luxury crossover carries over to 2014 with no significant changes. The only difference is that for 2014, a new Kona Coffee exterior hue replaces Amber Brownstone.
Strong, responsive V6 powertrain; capable handling; comfortable interior; flexible, versatile interior layout
The Acura RDX was redesigned for 2013, becoming slightly larger and adopting a V6 to replace the former turbocharged 4-cylinder. As a result, this RDX is quieter, more refined and more comfortable, and rather than being one of the edgier compact crossovers it's now a somewhat smaller but still refined alternative to mid-size luxury models like the Lexus RX or Cadillac SRX. The RDX's simplified model lineup and rich list of standard features also means that you'll get a well-equipped luxury vehicle that probably has a lower price tag than many other well-equipped models.
