New 2013 Toyota Prius Plug-In Prices

Largely unchanged for 2013, the Toyota Prius Plug-In hybrid is powered by a 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine and permanent AC synchronous motor, for a combined 134 hp. A larger lithium-ion battery pack enables extended electric-only driving in comparison to the standard Prius. An electronically controlled continuously variable transmission (ECVT) paired with FWD yields an EPA estimated range of 50 mpg (when in hybrid mode) to 95 MPGe (mile per gallons equivalents in electric-only mode). Features 15-in wheels, automatic climate control, Bluetooth® hands-free phone capabilities, USB with iPod® connectivity, push button start, and display audio with navigation. Safety is comprised of vehicle stability control (VSC), anti-lock brake system (ABS), Traction Control (TRAC), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Smart Stop Technology (SST), and advanced airbags. The Prius Plug-In is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
