Special features for 2012

The Volkswagen Eos remains a fantastic bargain in convertibles. The retractable hardtop gives the Eos better year-round practicality compared to other convertibles. With nimble front-wheel-drive handling, a high-quality interior, a superb turbocharged engine and plenty of standard features, it continues to have few competitors at the price.
Restyled for 2012, the FWD hardtop Volkswagen Eos convertible has received the new VW updates including a wide grill, new LED headlights, new LED taillights and a redesigned rear bumper. Changes don't apply under the hood leaving the Eos with the same 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 200 hp and 207 lb-ft of torque. Available drivetrains are limited to FWD and the same 6-speed DSG® transmission can be expected, which also means fuel mileage will have an upward range of 31 mpg highway. Features include 17-inch alloy wheels, leather seating, dual-zone climate control, sunroof, and heated front seats. Safety is comprised of front airbags, intelligent crash response, anti-lock braking, brake pad wear indicator, anti-slip regulation, electronic brake distribution, electronic stability control, hydraulic brake assist, electronic differential lock and engine braking assist. The Eos is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile New Vehicle Limited Warranty.
